Helloo world!
In recent weeks, xq has been watching mediacorp dramas in her free time. Aka rest time after work or shoots. 11pm slot has a repeated drama from 2005. Haha yitong and xinying watches it too! =) So I'm not the only one okay!
《活下去》is a show about patients with various health problems, life-endangering ailments that would haunt them for a lifetime. About the fragility of life, family relationships, being strong, bravery, standing up on your on feet, persevering against all odds... Patients with kidney failure, kids with cancer, oh my lord xq cannot take such scenes, cried several times at certain scenes and I remember tearing when I was watching it back then in 2005. Deja Vu.
Makes us appreciate what we have that we often take for granted--having a "tomorrow" to look forward to. A luxury to all these patients.
I liked some parts of the song. And the lyrics too, especially the 2nd verse..

It's true. How we often indulge and sink into depression by looking at the surface of unfortunate events, but fail to consider its long term repercussions which might be something that prepares us for something more.
This misfortune could very well be a stepping stone for us to scale greater heights.
