*..Does it exist?..*

The bible says that:

"Love is always patient;love is always kind;
Love is never envious or arrogant with pride.
Nor is she conceited,and she is never rude;

She never thinks just of herself or ever get annoyed.
She never is resentful; is never glad with sin,
but always glad to side with truth,
whenever the truth should win.

She bears up under everything, believes the best in all,
there is no limit to her hope, and she will never fall.

Love never fails."

The dictionary says that: Love is a noun.

* a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
* a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection
* a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.
* affectionate concern for the well-being of others

But is LOVE really what its denotative meaning or biblical meaning is in reality?

I guess LOVE is a sacred object, to be treated tenderly with respect.
LOVE is flawed, because MANKIND is flawed.

With love, along comes bitterness, jealousy, dominance, selfishness, lies, vengeance, dissatisfaction, hunger, competitiveness....and the list just goes on and on...it never ends...

There are 2 sides to everything, it takes 2 hands to clap.
Sometimes it's just so tough finding the other clapping hand, one starts to get jaded.

Sometimes just as you thought you've found the hand you want to hold on to for the rest of your life, you feel the immense fear of losing that person who's become so important to you. And when there's fear, comes possession and all the other evils of LOVE, that becomes impurities in the relationship.

It goes a full cycle and all boils down to how flawed Mankind really is.
So really, are we our own destroyers?

Haha don't worry, xq didn't 失恋 or 心碎 or anything along these lines. Just some random thoughts that struck me after random conversations.

Oh well, the fragility of it all. Scares the hell out of me.
