*..37627532 things on my mind..*

This feeling, it's way too familiar.
Heavy-hearted, depressive feeling, no mood for anything, the urge to sleep excessively.

I always do that as a form of escapism at crunch time, when I feel the incompetency to complete all the tasks on hand to my bestest ability. =(  Okay xq, this is so not the time to feel like that. Just a mere 3 weeks of hard work and it will be over.  Even if you'd wanted to do more, you won't have any assignments from school to do for the rest of your life!

But still...
Kill me now.

Amidst the 896387452873 deadlines that are almost impossible to complete in this crazy time frame, I wonder why there are other things that are out to kill me and steal my time from assignments.

1. xq is I/C of Chapman University's Network Party invites
2. xq must do a shoot (yet again) for bro on Monday.
3. thereafter, xq must EDIT the things all over again.
4. xq must do some photoshop annoying shit for bro's biz pitch.
5. xq is still caught within the most &%^&#$%&^ library saga of the year. Have to meet the dean here and there for unnecessary interrogation, when I'm really but the victim of poor administrative procedures on the part of the stupid library.

So all of these ^$^%#^ things here and there, distracting me and taking time away from my non-existent free time in the next 2-3 weeks.

Sigh, depression has hit xq. It's been confirmed by the 4 hr nap I just took for no apparent reason.

AND THIS IS CONTRIBUTING TO MY FOUL MOOD as it is. Spent the whole morning converting the video to the appropriate format, filled up the film fest form and then it failed. 

And when i woke up I did something really stupid. Sent an email to my professor instead of gina because their emails appear next to each other in gmail. Lucky I didn't mention anything in the text body, but still! PAISEH MUCH!

Meanwhile, I just wanna shivel up and dieeeee. =(

Today, our Internet Communication lecturer asked us to do a short write-up on 2 websites for next week's assignments--- 1 website you like and 1 website you don't like, And why so.  I THINK I HAVE FOUND MY ANSWER. THREADLESS!!!!! http://threadless.com....YOU'RE ON MY LOVE-HATE LIST! I love the shirts, but I hate it that I get tempted to buy unnecessary shirts during a sale.

Like today, there was a 1-day storewide $9 sale + Flat rate $9 shipping.  Thanks ah, 2 weeks after our $10 sale + Flat rate $10.  SIAN, luckily the shirts I ordered are out of stock in this current sale. PHEW.

Today, I saw this really cute design.

Named "Who Stole The Cookie?" LOL SO FUNNY COOKIE MONSTER! i loveee cookie monster and elmo! anyways was uber tempted to get this shirt but self-control mechanism took place automatically, and as fate had it, not meant to buy this shirt. 

PLS PLS PLS have this shirt to be always available in future sale periods.

On a lighter note, OUR THREADLESS PARCEL IS REACHING US SOON!!! cos saw a friend on FB posting a note that she's just received hers today, and her order was placed a few days before us. 

SECONDLY, MY HANDBAG EVER SO PRETTY AND NICEEE IS ARRIVING ON FRIDAY!! OR MAYBE BY MONDAY!!! since they're gonna mail out on Friday.  But guess what, I ordered this like end of July from a backorder. They promised arrival of mid-august.  And now it's gonna be Mid-Sept. 

It's been a long wait, but good things are worth the wait.

Thank goodness a whole lot of designs were out of stock during the sale, total damage was minimal with a few shirts on xq's side.

xq's been online shopping alot recently, and been saving a gazillion web pages in her favourites. Shall save everything I like, then pick out a few top picks for purchase. Muahaha. Limited budget, must consider carefully.

On a sidenote, hope threadless' sale comes really soon. They have been releasing really cute designs. And artistic too.  Just browsed through 30 pages of tshirts designs and I've already picked so manyyyy, close to 20 that I think slave and xq would like!!

A simple story that demonstrates the 2 extremities of the simple act of love.

Saw another tumblr photo that made alot of sense too.

I saw this quote on another friend's facebook status too.

*..Random Girl on Facebook..*

Helloo world, I'm clearing the screenshots on my desktop once again, pardon the excessive number of posts. I realize I'm getting lazy to blog and have been uploading entries in bulk, or in surges.

Anyways! On Friday night, this strange-looking girl added me to facebook out of the blue.  Her intro message was a template one, something like "I know you don't know me, but I just want to add you to get to know you better.  I'm starting out a new lifestyle and want to get to know more people to widen my social circle. Hope you'll accept this request and we can see what can work out from here."

My initial reaction: "Work out what thing? Relationship ah?" HAHA! And her head shot got me really interested, simply because she doesn't look human.  I added her so I could see more of her photos and get to "Know" her better.

So as you can see, a heavily photoshopped photo of herself that made her look alien-ish and out of the world.  Eyes too huge for a human face, nose too slim and sharp, head non-proportional to her somewhat fleshy body.

It looks really scary.

Why would people photoshop photos in such a manner that one look at it and you know it's digitally doctored, in an ugly manner?

What cracked me up were the comments by the other people she added. LOL!!

Pretty impressed by her though. In a span of several hours, she managed to compile a friends list of almost 200 strangers.  They probably added her for the same reason as me.

Her other photos, all of which were as lousily photoshopped. I think she should look quite alright pre-photoshopped, why make yourself look worse?! Tskkkkkk.

Hope she uploads more photos, I really want to see more photos. For the kick of it. HAHAHA!

Shortly after, she added slave with the same template message.

You may be the next she'll add! If she meddles with my friends' list. Okay la, maybe on 2nd thoughts, I should delete her from my facebook tomorrow.

*..Boredom, while it lasts..*

Since widescreen project ended on thursday, 17th June 2010, xq been feeling freeedom.  Too much of it, surmounts to boredom.

Bejeweled made a re-entry into my life.  I played it whenever I couldn't think of anything else to do, or rather, was too lazy to think of what to do.

And with familiarization, I broke my all-time record. WOOHOO!  But the scoreboard was reset soon after, to xq's agony. -_-

Nvm, shall aim to scale greater heights!!!

There was one night, this popped up on my screen in the midst of my boredom.  AND I ACTUALLY BOTHERED TO TRACE THE LINE. hahahaha!!! what a cute pencil btw, tempted me.

And one more thing, been wanting to upload this. (And of course, mole is gonna kill me but I don't really care!! HEH HEH!!!)

xq is in a very good mood today, cos she got to eat Kallang Airport Crabs unexpectedly! WOOHOO, but today's crabs abit no meat. -_- Malnourished. Slave & I met LF, Charm & YM for dinner and we ordered all the nice fooood =) It's fun to eat with people who loves food as much (if not more) than you do, cos good food somehow tastes better when shared with friends and loved ones.

Craving for jap food even though I just ate it on Tuesday. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME? hahaha I loveeeee sashimi, scallops, taco pachis, SOFT SHELL CRABS..EVERYTHING!!!

And I have the funniest friends who leave the weirdest things for me online that cracks me up =)

Joannamary who's recently been in the twitter craze. She has influenced quite a number of Chapman juniors to sign up for Twitter and now everyone's super active on it. Except cecilia chin and xq. Even Boots (Slave's bro's cat) has Twitter account. TSKTSK WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO!!!!!


anyway I was sleeping already, hence the MIA-ness. And joannamary continued spamming me nonetheless. LOL.





And of course, with technology, there's just more ways to find out when someone is talking bad about you or whoever. TSK don't understand why the seniors in school are ultra biased against us juniors and take every chance to dig at us. PUI. Hate it when they think they're superior to us, when we're actually all equal beings.


Yuck, you JNR. The sight of you in school irks me out. Twitter exposed your conniving ways. And guess what, today's presentation several seniors were late too, for like 45min-1hour. So look who's talking!

Skype is what occupies our night hours, we get barely 3 hours of sleep everyday. I MISS THE SAME OLD PEOPLE TOO =( Esp mama and papa foo. And PINK PINK! miss hugging her to sleep each night! 2 more days!!

If only we could skype anyone we missed, how nice that would be. A livefeed video right on your laptop's screen, and free voice calls internationally. What could beat that? Nonetheless, not all things work out in accordance to our ideals.
